DRAFT: WHGC invites you to attend the Symposium on Developments in Anti-Dumping Enforcement on Oct 24 in Beijng! October 8, 2012
|Esteemed Friends and Colleagues,
I am very excited to announce the upcoming event, “Symposium on Developments in Anti-Dumping Enforcement Actions” that will be taking place at the Peking University in Beijing on October 24, 2012. This groundbreaking conference marks a monumental moment in international trade regulation as it is the first time that U.S. Judges from the Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC), and the United States District Courts will come together to speak on the subject of IP Enforcement and Anti-Dumping Enforcement in Bejing.
As John Naisbitt, the author of Megatrends said, ” the new source of power is not money in the hands of a few, but information in the hands of many.” In today’s “one market world,” it is imperative for businesses to stay abreast of the latest trends in international trade regulations and the effects that these regulations will have on the placement of their products and services. With regard to international trade, special attention should be paid to the enforcement actions of anti-dumping policies and patent infringement rulings. As the USITC and Federal Circuit oversee rulings for both patent infringement and anti-dumping policies, understanding the latest decisions of the Federal Circuit and USITC proceedings can make a vital difference when developing a successful global market strategy.
This event is hosted by Peking University, one of the most respected universities in China, and sponsored by WHGC Law Firm, Covington & Burling Law Firm, and our Strategic Partner, Dacheng Law Offices, the largest law firm in China. Our keynote speakers include Chief Judge Radar from the Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, Judge Essex from the USITC, Magistrate Judge Grewal from the Northern District of California, Dean Testy and Professor O’Connor from the University of Washington School of Law. We hope that you will join us in Beijing.
Stay tuned for further developments!
