Richard Cauley to Speak at Webinar “Calculating Damages Resulting from Patent Infringement” February 25, 2011

Mr. Richard F. Cauley, a well-recognized authority on patent damages and partner of WHGC, P.L.C, is scheduled to speak at a webinar hosted by Business Development Academy from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (EST) Thursday, March 3, 2011. The webinar focuses on creative damages theories and significant court cases that have drawn legal precedence over future cases and have made substantial impact on this complex subject.

The lecture, “Calculating Damages Resulting from Patent Infringement” encompasses patent damages topics including Anti-Trust Issues, Entire Market Value Rule, Apportionment, Accelerated Market Re-Entry and Reasonable Royalties. The course will also delve in notable patent infringement cases such as eBay v. MercExchange, i4i v. Microsoft, Function Media v. Google, and Cornell University v. Hewlett-Packard within the three-hour webinar.

Author of Winning the Patent Damages Case and published by Oxford University Press, Richard Cauley’s book was recently cited by the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in the landmark patent damages decision in Lucent Technologies v. Gateway. His upcoming book, the 2 nd edition of the same book is due out in early March.
