Come Support WHGC at the 2nd Annual Getzlaf Golf Shootout Charity Event!!! August 30, 2012

Dearest Friends and Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that WHGC will be a Supporting Sponsor and a competing foursome at the coming “2nd Annual Getzlaf Golf Shootout” hosted by Ryan Getzlaf, Captain of the NHL Anaheim Ducks, on Sept 8 th and 9 th. The Pre-Golf Dinner Reception will take place at Sutra in Costa Mesa on Saturday night, with the Golf Tournament taking place the next day at Monarch Beach Golf Links in Dana Point. All event proceeds will benefit CureDuchenne.

CureDuchenne is a national nonprofit that raises awareness and funding to develop a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a progressive muscle disease that impacts 1 in every 3,500 boys worldwide. CureDuchenne’s funding support the most promising research programs aimed at treating and curing the disease. As long-term friends and colleagues of CureDuchenne’s founders, Debra and Paul Miller, WHGC has been an active supporter of CureDuchenne for many years, from its inception as a family foundation to a national nonprofit organization. WHGC is honored to have this opportunity to give back to the community and help save these bright young lives.

In addition to contributing to a worthwhile cause, supporters will have the opportunity to meet NHL All-Star Ryan Getzlaf, along with other Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings hockey players. Please come support CureDuchenne and WHGC at this very special event!

We hope you’ll join us on the course.
