Wei Huang joined WHGC in the spring of 2011, where she practices in the area of business litigation and intellectual property. Her international and medical science background gives her a unique perspective on cross-border matters and IP-related matters.

Ms. Huang has experience in business transactions, including reviewing, drafting purchase agreements and finalizing business deals in the aviation industry. She has also assisted in the patent application of domestic and international corporations and has facilitated ongoing communication with foreign associates to ensure proper application with patent & trademark offices abroad.

Ms. Huang is deft in drafting various motions for business and intellectual property litigation cases and handling matters relating to small businesses and personal transactions.

Ms. Huang has helped bridge the language and cultural gap between attorneys and clients, handling personal property for foreign clients interested in protecting assets overseas.

Prior to joining WHGC, Ms. Huang interned as a legal researcher in civil litigation at Connor & Demond, a law firm in downtown Austin, and was a legal editorial assistant at Jones McClure Publishing, a prominent legal guide publisher in Houston, Texas.

During law school, Ms. Huang was the recipient of the Law School Scholarship. She was an active member of the Texas International Law Journal, Intellectual Property Law Society, and the treasurer of the Asian Law Students Association. She also participated in various volunteer activities like Habitat for Humanity and free community legal aide.
