Our Qualifying Capabilities

The exceptional capabilities of our lawyers ideally suit us for successfully handling the legal matters pertinent to our clients. Wang, Hartmann, Gibbs & Cauley, P.L.C., presents some of the most adept and highly trained legal minds in the profession. With a depth of business and technical expertise and experience coupled with comprehension of the law, we provide insightful guidance on corporate, high technology, and intellectual property matters. In particular, our attorneys have the technical, engineering, and legal acumen required by the interests of our clients.

Our attorneys expertly interpret and apply patent language in your business and legal interests.

Our capabilities extend to building tactical legal strategies and employing creative problem-solving techniques to best serve our clients’ complex situations. In determining an appropriate position to pursue, we judiciously analyze and evaluate the optimal resolution of each matter, from establishing intellectual property claim invalidity and non-infringement to achieving dispute settlement. In litigating intellectual property conflicts, our attorneys deconstruct patent language, discern patent class and application, and present the more cogent argument before the court. We employ expert patent interpretation and are able to translate the language of the patent into the most favorable position for our clients.

Additionally, WHGC’s primary consideration is in providing a global strategy consistent with the client’s philosophy and in line with their ideal business interests. Above all, we possess the demonstrated means and resources to effectively enforce such tactics on behalf of our clients.

WHGC’s ability to successfully implement innovative legal solutions is evident in many of our previously completed cases. For example, in defending a Taiwan-based publicly traded company against intellectual property claims in U.S. federal court, we developed an upfront analysis on damages, invalidity, and non-infringement. Our unique approach enabled us to successfully negotiate a favorable settlement on behalf of our client. In another such case we represented a California-based globally leading digital camera manufacturer against complex multi-patent litigation. Under arbitration agreement we effectively engaged in claim construction, which we then leveraged to substantially limit the scope of the damages in the case.

Finally, we possess the capacity to deliver results on our clients’ legal affairs in a timely and efficient manner. We are able to handle and resolve matters with utmost timing, realizing the essential value of time to our clients.
