Ms. Victoria L. White joins as senior associate with almost 30 years of experience in corporate law including commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, financing and securities.

Newport Beach, CA - Wang, Hartmann, Gibbs & Cauley is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Firm, Victoria L. White as she joins as a senior associate in the business corporate group. With almost 30 years of comprehensive intellectual property, Ms. White also extensively practices corporate business and finance, technology, employment and insurance law.

Ms. White has served as Corporate Counsel for Sony Pictures Entertainment and MGM/UA Communications where she maintained responsibility for supporting major studios on all aspects of production, financing and distribution agreements. She was also involved in the active enforcement of Sony's intellectual property rights including patent, trademark and copyright matters.

Ms. White has also represented LG Electronics in the active enforcement and protection of its intellectual property such as patent rights in the areas of smartphones and MP-3 players. She has negotiated global settlements to resolve disputes relating to profits, royalties residuals and other compensation for technology, media and digital rights holders, financiers and distributors.

She was also counsel for CBS Entertainment and served as vice-president of legal affairs at Acacia Research Corporation.

Ms. White earned her Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School. She also graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degree in Economics.
